An ad claiming that U.S. Rep. Mike Coffman gets more NRA money than other Colorado representatives is true about that fact, but misleads on others.

The ad from the Giffords PAC, co-founded by mass-shooting victim and former congresswoman Gabby Giffords, accurately highlights the 6th District incumbent’s contributions from the National Rifle Association gun lobby. But it also misrepresents his votes on gun background checks.

It also gets wrong the number of people killed in the 2012 Aurora theater shooting.
