Denver Mayor Michael Hancock’s latest challenger says his homeless sweeps aren’t solving the problem, and his dream of the Olympics in Denver is a mistake.

Jamie Giellis comes from the River North Arts District. Her background is in urban planning.

She joins a growing field that also includes former State Senator Penfield Tate and community activist Lisa Calderon.

Giellis tells Kyle Clark in an interview that Hancock is setting the wrong tone for Denver.
